INTOS achieves sustainable transformation at Schiphol with SAM Solid

INTOS recently completed several projects at Schiphol Airport, including the Cockpitplein and the Cloud Area. In these projects, INTOS used SAM Solid Grass panels—an innovative material made from grass harvested in the Schiphol region. By doing so, Schiphol actively contributes to the circular economy while also reducing its ecological footprint.

At Cockpitplein, seating benches were constructed using frames made from SAM Solid. To meet airport safety regulations, the material was treated with SAM Fireshield. SAM Solid was also integrated into the design of the Cloud Area.
