FAAY and SAM Panels Launch Biobased Toilet Panel

At the HOUTBOUW trade fair, FAAY walls and ceilings and SAM Panels presented a joint innovation: a fully biobased and circular toilet panel, specially designed for hanging toilets. This customized solution has recesses for the supply and outlet, toilet bowl attachment and the control panel, which ensures quick and easy installation.

The toilet panel consists of a solid flax core and finished with the durable SAM Pure top layer. This means that the product is not only fully biobased, but also circular — an important step towards more sustainable phasing out methods. Valuable feedback has already been collected during HOUTBOUW, which is used to further optimize the innovation.

After a successful introduction, the toilet plate has now been tested in practice. At the real estate fair PROVADA, sun June 17, 18 and 19, the product is shown within the project Modular Circular Home. There, CUBE Homes will present a Tiny House in which the biobased toilet plate has actually been used — a tangible example of how innovative, circular solutions find their way into practice.
