At the Houtbeurs, an innovative biobased interior door, developed in collaboration between AKAB and SAM Panels, was presented for the first time. This door marks an important step towards sustainable and circular building materials.

The new interior door is made of biobased materials, using renewable raw materials that are produced locally. This contributes to reducing the ecological footprint and supports the local economy.

The door is equipped with a lightweight, stable core: the SAM Light. Developed by SAM Panels, this core offers outstanding performance and workability, resulting in a product that is both functional and durable.
